Why the Lean Start Up Changes Everything
The Jonas Project has recently been introduced to Greg Meier, Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Global Entrepreneurship Collective in Milwaukee, WI. He and his partner, Nick Wichert, teach entrepreneurship at UW-Milwaukee and manage VETransfer as well as other small business accelerators, or training programs, for startups. VETransfer helps military veterans get their businesses off the ground. Since May 2012 VETransfer has put 29 companies through the accelerator program; twenty-seven of those are still in business, resulting in more than 100 new jobs.
These are the kinds of people and programs that The Jonas Project partners with, in the common goal to stand behind our Veterans and ensure they have the resources they need to be successful in their entrepreneurial ventures.
