Newman’s Own awards foundation grant to The Jonas Project

The Jonas Project’s first grant award was announced today.

Newman’s Own, Fisher House Foundation, and Military Times part of Gannett Government Media Corporation, sponsor the competition, which seeks to reward ingenuity for programs that benefit service men and women and their families.

Of the 303 applicants for the grant program, 10 organizations were awarded grants. The Jonas Project was among them. This is an unprecedented achievement as most non-profits don’t receive grant money until they have been in operation for two full years, and The Jonas Project has just passed it’s eight month mark.
