THE JONAS PROJECT NAMED “2017 TOP-RATED NONPROFIT” by GreatNonprofits
Award Based on Outstanding Online Reviews
Long Beach, CA, April 18, 2017 –The Jonas Project announced today it has been named a “2017 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits for the second year, the leading provider of user reviews of charities and nonprofits.
The Jonas Project works with Veteran Entrepreneurs to provide critical resources for the first two years of the Veteran’s business including business mentors, business and operational planning, and professional services.
“We are honored to be named a 2016 and 2017 Top-Rated Nonprofit,” says John Kelsall, Co-Founder of The Jonas Project. “It is important to us to not only have the validation of third-party reviewers like GreatNonprofits so that our donors can rest easy that their contributions serve the mission of the organization, but that the people we serve and work with regard us so highly.”
The Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is based on the rating and number of reviews that The Jonas Project received from volunteers, donors and aid recipients.
“I’ve volunteered with this organization and have a personal relationship with the founding team. Jonas and I were teammates and best friends, and I can’t think of a better way for his family to honor his service than to serve the military community he loved,” said Patrick Dossett, Veteran and TJP volunteer. “TJP provides effective support to veteran entrepreneurs, empowering them to successfully execute new and challenging missions outside of the uniform and enabling them to create critical employment opportunities for their fellow veterans. TJP is an outstanding team with an even more outstanding mission.”
“The Jonas Project is a great example of a nonprofit making a real difference in the community,” said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits, “Their award is well-deserved recognition not only of their work, but the tremendous support they receive, as shown by the many outstanding reviews they have received from people who have direct experience working with The Jonas Project”.
GreatNonprofits is the leading website where people share stories about their personal experiences on more than 1.2 million charities and nonprofits. The GreatNonprofits Top-Rated Awards are the only awards for nonprofits determined by those who have direct experience with the charities – as donors, volunteers and recipients of aid.
